Who takes part
Thrower, near receiver (C), far receiver (L), one defender (D) and a goalkeeper.
What the ball does
The thrower throws it to the free receiver: if it is the far one, he dribbles and shoots at the small goal.
How to score
A goal in the small goal after the throw-in.
When it ends
With the shot, if the defender wins it or if the ball goes out.
How it restarts
A new throw-in after rotating positions.
How players rotate
On every throw-in the four outfield players rotate: thrower to near, near to far, far to defender and defender to thrower. The goalkeeper changes every 4 minutes.

Goal

Move at the throw-in so the thrower has a free teammate.

Description

Stations of five by the touchline (three fit in 30x20): a thrower, two receivers, a defender and a goalkeeper in a small goal. On the throw-in, the two receivers move: one comes towards the thrower and the other moves away towards goal. The defender can only mark one, and the thrower picks the free one. If the near one receives, he plays it back to the thrower or dribbles; if the far one receives, he goes for goal. It teaches that at throw-ins you have to move, not wait standing still.

Step by step

  1. 1

The two receivers move: C comes towards the thrower and L moves away towards goal.

    1. 1.1 C comes short.
    2. 1.2 L goes long.
  2. 2

The defender follows C, so the thrower throws to L.

  3. 3

L controls it and shoots at goal.

Rules

Throw-in with the hands. One receiver comes short and the other goes long. The defender marks one. If the near one receives, he plays it back to the thrower or dribbles; if the far one receives, he shoots at goal.
